WHEN I THINK OF YOU...
I think: strong, resilient, tenacious... Exhausted.
I see you — striving, committed, driven... Pushing.
You consciously want more; you’re a go-getter. Good for you!
But does it have to be this much of a struggle?
When I think of you, I imagine you're asking yourself,
"Is this it? Is this living?"
The harder you push, the further the joy drifts away. Something’s not aligning...
Existing under the weight of expectation and the demands of society.
Wondering why something doesn’t feel quite right yet defined by everything around you—your role as a partner, a parent, your career, even the expectations set by your family.
You’ve done what’s expected, played by the rules, and pushed yourself to achieve, yet here you are, stuck in the same cycle.
You’re operating from a place that’s been shaped by everyone else’s definitions of who you should be.
So, let me ask you—Who are you, really? And what do you want?
WHEN SOMEONE ASKS WHO I AM...
The instinct is to share what I do: I’m a mother, a wife, a coach, a friend but those labels define me through the eyes of others and not through my own lens.
I’m the first on the dance floor and often the last to leave. I’m curious, sometimes shy, other times loud. I’m honest, free, alive, and aligned. I’m level, perceptive, kind, and fiercely loyal. That’s who I am in my own eyes, and it’s only something I discovered when I stopped pushing myself to fit the mould of everyone else’s expectations.
It took healing, finding balance, and releasing the judgment I had placed on myself. It’s uncovering in the joy of wondering, in the curiosity to grow without berating myself for not having it all figured out. I’m passionate about understanding the “why,” the “how,” and the “when.” But what truly fuels me is the process of change and progress, no matter how small. I don’t believe in limits. Breaking out of them is just part of who I am, whether I like it or not.
I accept my strengths as well as my flaws—knowing they’re often one and the same. And above all, I strive for love. Because without it, what’s the point?
